People with low self-esteem often use the term Loser to refer to other people. Define Loser?

INtodays world a loser is basically someone who does not meet the standards of others.
Also some people use it to put others down because they can not pull themselves up. -if you know what i mean- I have had people call me that just using it as a play name. So I don;t rally know what it mean anymore.
They think a loser is someone who has interests other that what theirs is.

I think they mean .none workers,dirty,low class not good moral or goals.Not always good slang ....

we dont know the meaning today because we dont take the time to play outside. Schools have to give everyone a trophy now just for showing up. Not only have they taken prayer and God out of school they are tring to remove pride and selfrespect, ahh and dont forget about dignity, humility and integrity, it went out the school house doors along with patriotisim, and God. Havent you heard we are all equal, you cant have winners and losers because someone might get their feelings hurt.
Someone needs to prepare these kids for the real world...
