Weak minded people are easy to control. Why do our most intelligent people fall for the same old traps again?

It's about being good in one aspect, and weak in another. Not everyone is perfect.
Some of the most stupid people (in terms of academics) can be the most socially skilled and manipulative.
There are different forms of intelligence anyway...traditionally intelligent people are defined by academics, jobs, grade performance.but don't expect them to be smart in everything else.

Intelligence cannot and will not ever replace or even try to replace common sense.
Now as far as falling into traps, you must realize that stupid people are extremely dangerous for a couple reasons.
Stupid people can join together in an instant to form a super-stupid mass. Intelligent people have to use strategy, planning, thought, and trust to work together.
Also, stupid people are very dangerous because it's nearly impossible to predict how, when, or even why they attack. It's totally random and without rational thought. Therefor extremely hard to defend against.

some people want to use this wisdom to change people or make their lives better and believe by doing this the person will fall in love with them
but unfortunately it leads to more heartbreak
