loo, purdy much anything anybody knows would be kool... they're interesting.

Answer:
Why do we have them? – The brain switches into a hypotonic state while memories are crystallised through a process called network consolidation.

Why can’t we remember them? - The same reason why it's hard to remember what goes on in hypnosis. It's because they're put into long-term memory (subconscious) not short term memory (conscious), so your more likely to remember them some randomly when you're not thinking about it rather than as soon as you wake up from a dream.

What are they for? (Entertainment while asleep?) - Yeah they are, it's just like running a weird movie of all the memories the VCR in your brain's recorded, while you're brains de-fragmenting and sorting out stuff.

What do they do for\to you? - Not much, they just remind you of sub-conscious stuff you've forgotten about.

When are they most common? - Every time you sleep you go into a stage of sleep called REM, this is where they occur.

Why do some re-occur? - Because you're brain hasn't finished storing and transferring the memory.

What do some mean? - Not a lot, they’re just memories bundled together. But the memories in the dreams can mean a lot to you.
Your brain never sleep and it always active so if your friends are busy and it raining outside you would probably do something to entertain yourself, video games, knitting, or other hobbies. When your body goes asleep your brain get bored so imagination with endless possibilities will keep you entertained
We dream because our brains are in constant activity. It doesn't just shut down because we fall asleep! Different stages of consciousness produce different brain wave activity. Your brain mind and spirit, while at rest "review" and analysis in it's own way long term, short term and spirit memory. It kicks around emotions, thoughts, ideas, actions and interactions of the short term memory. It has in it's background the trends of your life and philosophy to influence it. Your mind is also processing spiritual data, your beliefs, whether or not you violated them, your information gained through psychic intuition (we ALL have this to a certain degree) and of course, any communication from God. ALL THIS data, as well as your subconscious "reading between the lines" of what people do and tell you, is then processed unsupervised by you! All this data is a form of chaos, and your mind (like seeing images in wood grain or clouds) puts it all together in a form of visual "screenplay", a medley of sight, sound, emotion and imagined interactivity. The end result is. You guessed it, a dream!
yeah dreams are beautiful sometimes and other times they can be bad .. things you see in the day time like where you step or just random things show up in your dreams when you fall asleep .. you can feel extreme feelings in your dreams too which is also amazing.. the mind is extremely powerful. i remember my dreams .. some people dont but I do very well especially when i wake up i can jot it all down .. but throughout the day i just forget .. why dont you jot it down right when you wake up and try to connect things that you do in your everyday life
1.Dreams are your own guide and personal problem solving tool.
2.We remember what we need to in consciousness if we try.
3.You are telling yourself something really important.
4.See above.
5.When you need them. when you are confused or need advice about something.
6.They re-occur because they(you) are trying harder to give yourself a message.
7.lots of symbols you can learn. A car could represent your life. Are you the driver? Are you in control? Are you in the backseat? Is it going to fast? Off a bridge? The most important thing is to ask yourself what you are feeling. eg. I was feeling scared in that car. Someone else was driving it obviously points out that the person is not taking control of their life and therefore becoming frightened. this concludes the advice to one self would be to address taking control. You will learn. Write them down. Listen to your feelings.
Car=life, Garden= could be love bridge=getting to or over something. think about the phrases we use. build a bridge and get over it. etc
want me to try and analyse your dream I am no professional just self taught?
