Do you live in the past? How do you move on with yor life when you can't get over it?
Do you live in the past? How does one move on from the trauma/traumas?
Answer:
I used to live in the past and be downtrodden all of the time. Their is only one answer to this question. God. Give all of your problems up to God and he will take care of you. This is the only true way. God loves you more than anyone. Talk to him. Talk to him a lot. Go to church. Surround yourself with believers. Rely wholeheartedly on God. It is the only perminant solution.
i know how you feel. it sucks sometimes. what you have is to realize the past is a part of your present and future. figure out how it still affects you. its not gone, its still there, so dont be afraid to miss it or be sorry for it. sometimes the scars only fade, but they will always be there. unfortunately i know. :(
and it still hurts to this day. but every little thing effects your future. and you will HAVE to move forward.
You've gotta not take life so seriously. I myself lived in the past for 6 long years, then I realized that that wasn't a good way to live life, and I woke up. This realization has to come from within though, for if it doesn't, then it's meaningless.
first, you have to accept your past.whatever happened then cannot be erased now.if you have any hurt feelings or pain was inflicted, let it go.Yes,easier said than done.I understand. But in due time, you will get over the pain.it takes time to heal the wounds. Next, you have to look forward to what the future holds for you. Because u cannot do anything with your past now, other than accept it and move on.But what you do in the present and future is in your hands. Freedom from trauma will only come when you learn to trust your heart again and accept that what happened then, probably taught you a good lesson.Look at it positively. Good luck. =)
you shouldnt ever live in the past it will hurt you in the long run of things. just move on with life as it is.
you have got to see the bright side of your future. If you continue to live in thepast how can you make room for the great things that will happen in your future? I know it hurts and the heart is the hardest thing to heal, but if you take it day by day and look forward to the future your heart will heal in no time..
I really dont know im trying m,yself - i find it best to just do things. All the time. Keep doing. Doesnt matter what it is - even something simple like cleaning up or walking or singing - just keep doing - and evetually with all the doing you find things fade out in your head. and you dont remember as much and then it's not as bad.
Been there, done that. The thing is to decide what you want to be, then focus your energies on doing everything in the present that will assist you in moving towards that goal. Every-time that, "if only I had ...," thought enters your mind say,
"no, we're not going there again," then return to now. It helps greatly to enroll your friends to assist. You've recognized the problem, now you can defeat it!
The DVD, "The Secret" or the book, The Science of Getting Rich, may help. They are both good kick-starters and when applied, do work.

No, I do my best to let go of the past and live in the here and now. There is nothing I can do to change the past and I can only do so much about the future so the best thing to do is to live for today. I have a lot of trauma from my past and suffer from PTSD which means I have terrible nightmares which bring back the past traumas. I have to let it go or I would drive myself crazy. Everything that has happened to me in my life has made me the person I am today, both good and the bad. Life isn't easy and this is not the only bad thing that will happen to you in your life so you need to start living each day and enjoying every good day you have. It's alright to grieve and to feel the pain for a time, but then let it go. Hold onto to the good memories and let the bad fade into your past. You will enjoy life a lot more. Take care and fell better. Start living!
