Why do none of us remember being a baby?
Answer:
The reason for the absence of most memories before age three is directly due to the absence of language development. Language in the form of the words we use is a criterion for memory retention. That is why "acronyms"are developed to serve as mnemonic devices. Before language develops, we have very little, other than sensory touch/feelings and photographs to help us remember the events and experiences in our lives.
thats a good ?. maybe because earlier our brains werent developed enough to structure thoughts and situations so they didnt stick with us.
I have memories from about nine months of age. (Just a few)
i do. i remember getting my diaper changed. but i do not rememb... wait i do recall being born. i remember how painful it was. it hurt a lot. i dont remember everything i did but just the very painful parts
my best guess is how careless we were as a child or maybe how good it was or both. when someone gets careless while having a good time. just ask what happened at least a week later. i bet they will not remember exactly what happend but just in case that person doesnt remember ask another person and see how consistant they are with eachother.
Some do. I remember being in the crib and wanting my bottle. The milk was sour and I wanted more. I was about 6 months old at the time.
Peace.
EDIT: Just read the answer above. That makes sense. I score very high in language tests. Always have.
