What kind of job can a person with a bachelors degree in psychology get'?

I have just graduated and have no work experience in the field of psychoogy yet. I am trying to get some experience but am having trouble finding work in the field.

Answer:
When I graduated with my BA in Psychology I worked in a hospital as a psych tech. Youu could also look into a counslor for a group home or a special ed school as something in behavior resource. I am not sure if you are interested in working with adults or children, but if you look into the psychology department at a hospital, you may find some positions. You may need to take a job that only requires a HS diploma, but when you look into a job look for possible advancement. Also, if you are interested you may look into some research assistant positions. Good luck.
You could work for a mental health/counseling facility as a therapist.
You can get any job that requires a minimum of a bachelors in a human services related discipline. If you want to work as a counselor or therapist you're going to have to go to grad school. I suggest looking for jobs in human resources.
You can get started in a counseling position with most mental health facilities or drug and alcohol programs. Get out the yellow pages. Many institution are looking for counselors but these are not usually employee friendly operations. Hospitals hire counselors and often offer educational benefits to help support your continuing education. These starting positions do not pay a lot but will get you the experience you need to move on up in the field.
