Where to turn to?

I am trying to figure out if I am suicidal or not. I often have thoughts of death and I want to die. I am also depressed. But I am not asking you to tell me that I am suicidal, I want to find out from a pro. Does anyone know of a website that could help me?

Answer:
listen, i dont know if you are joking or not- but if you are being serious, i suggest you talk to someone you can trust, your parents, siblings, etc (keep it in the family). Then if you are not feeling better and whomever you talked to seems concerned you should then seek some professional help. This is not a bad thing, but maybe you just need someone to talk to etc.

good luck, feel better
Don't use a web site. See an MD asap. You need help now!
if you feel this way, call your GP immediately. Or go to the hospital immediately.

If you are stopping to think about being suicidal, you probably are not, and this is a good thing to stop and think about, because suicide is permenant. Death is permenant.

Keep in mind, we all feel a bit on the edge from time to time. We all feel overwhelmed and that there is no way out sometimes. We all have thoughts of being "outside the picture". Don't neglect this dispair. Pay attention to it. Your mind is telling your body something.

Your problem sounds personal. Look to a person for your help, not to a computer. Call your doctor and let them know you may need a little help "getting over the hump" right now and talk therapy may help..

good luck to you. :)
The following web site is useful if you need help finding a licensed therapist in your area, or if you would like guidance regarding how to select the right therapist for you:
