Dr. Sam Vaknin, PhD is one of the few sources I found who actually gives advice on how to maintain a relationship with a narcissist vs. just encouraging one to abandon ties; he is a narcissist himself. Dr. Vaknin's web sites offer a plethora of other information re narcissism in addition to above. His input is invaluable and his communication style is unique -- a bit less "clinical" than some of the psychiatric manuals. I'm a Registered Nurse & many healthcare professionals discourage the referencing of info. from non-mental health sites. Dr. Sam isn't considered a "mental health professional" and yet his perspective/advice makes the most sense, is very helpful and has proven to be most effective in my personal life.
i am in a very similar situation. I just caught my hubby singles surfing. When I finally got him to come clean... he told me he just wanted to know if other women find him attractive. what a fuk up.
If he's that stuck up about himself, just leave. People will never stop if you keep supporting the habit.
As for the husband wanting to know if other women are still attracted to him, well, makes sense to me. And it's good for you, as well.
If he knows he could have other women but chooses you, isn't that better than you being the only one who'd have him?
