Have you ever said something that you knew was not true, but just couldn't stop yourself from saying it?
Answer:
little white lies like that are pretty much unavoidable. and even though it's still lying, it's not that bad. i mean, all you were doing was making your mom feel better. like one day my friend came to school and her hair was absolutely awful, but i didn't say nething cuz it's just hair and she's my friend. then she tells me that she didn't have time to fix it well and just threw it up so i autimatically say "o no, it looks fine! don't worry!" this was a lie but it just spilled out. happens to everyone im thinkin
As "Bob" says, "I always lie . . . and I'm always right"
oooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh yeah, PLENTY of times
Exactly - people tell "little white lies" all the time to keep others from feeling bad about something.
Don't you think that a lot of times, the first thing out of your mouth is how you truly feel? Maybe deep down, you actually don't mind washing some dishes...seriously! Cleaning, in general, is a great stress reliever. It also gives you time to be by yourself and just think...or hum a tune! :)
as the great socrates once said we dont mean everything we say and we dont say everything we mean
Maybe it was subconsciously true...Perhaps an affinity to please her.You sound like a nice person..either way,it's no crime.
