What do you use to decide?

When it comes to relationships, work, family, friends... in making decisions do you use your head (reason), your heart (emotions), or your gut instict... and how has this affected your life?

I've gone with my gut a lot... with varied results. I try to use my head, but I get conflicted. What do you think?

Answer:
If for the most part you trust your opinions and ideas and you can be honest with yourself then step out of the situation for a few and become the person that is giving advice to someone else with the very same details as your situation. Give that person the best and honest advice that you could give them and then decide if that advice is something you could take. It always helps me. It doesn't always turn out the way that I totally want it but, I haven't lost friends or money yet and feel blessed in my life. Good Luck
My head.
follow your heart is what i do
a combination i guess..works best
That is why wisdom comes with age. You eventually learn to incorporate all three when making decisions. That is why you are getting varied results: there are times you should be more logical or emotional.
Weigh all reactions, (head, heart, ect..), and try to see which option they are all the closest to agreement on. Such as if your head likes one option, but your heart screams against it, it might not be the right one, but if the second option your gut instinct likes, and your heart and head are not totally opposed to, that may be the right one, ect...
I have learned that it is better to always use your heart (which is also your gut reaction). Number 1 it will avoid you the heart ache because you used your emotions and heart. And Number 2 your head always over analyzes situations. Sometimes bringing up fears and situations that probably won't even happen. Always follow your heart. I've been taught that it is never wrong. If you've gone with your gut and didn't get the result you wanted perhaps it wasn't the result that was for you. Perhaps there was something important to learn there. A saying by Pythagoras goes something like this: Do not let sweet slumber overcome you without meditating/going over all of your day's scenes.
Dear, you are not playing a fare game here, relationships are with both, family is only by the heart, and work could be with either. So it is life that makes you take the decision and the mean you make that decision with.
a nice balence of all 3 my gut is mostly correct so i tend to go with that most of the time! but it doesn't hurt to do a little reaseach (head) and to take into effect of my heart bottom line will my heart still be the same if i follow through with my gut? if so lets make sure that is it logical and possible (head)

hope it makes sence!~
Best wishes
Head, that way u think about what the outcome might be. it works for me!
When I was younger I always followed my heart. Now, I try to take myself out of the picture, look at it objectively and make a decision.
