I had a conversation with my boyfriend today about an artist guy whom I think is sort of cool. My boyfriend, who knows him a bit better than I do, said, "He's sort of eerie, but not in a bad way." This set off some alarms because I had two situations in past relationships where my boyfriends said the EXACT same thing about two other males, but I found out later that they really WERE creepy in a bad way and my boyfriends weren't being 100% honest with me. Is it just the guys I attract, or is there something about a lot of guys that makes it hard for them to talk about it when another male is genuinely creepy?

No, we have no qualms about pointing out another guy is creepy if he is your bf, he told you this because he sincerely cares about your safety, chances are that artist guy really IS a creep. The bigger question that is still unanswered is why are you so unwittingly drawn to shady men?
If a man feels safe around a creep it is not a bother. It is different if you feel put on.
Unless you're planning on dating the creepy guy, what do you care? Guys typically don't talk smack about each other like women do. Plus we don't overanalyze or particularly care about the quirky personality traits of other men.
