A question about thinking.?

When you wake up in the middle of the night and your mind wonders...things like 'Do I really like my occupation', 'Do I want kids', 'Do I like where my life is taking me', etc.do you think your thoughts are more accurate to your true feelings rather than when you are awake in the middle of the day? (Sorry...it's hard to explain!). For me, I find that in the middle of the night I feel real strongly about something, but in the daytime it doesn't seem so intense of a feeling. Is this how a lot of people feel? Just curious.

Answer:
If something is waking you up in the middle of the night, then it must be important to you. You are probably keeping yourself busy during the day and don't allow yourself much time to daydream. If you constantly waking up and thinking the same things, then take a day off from work, relax, and really take some time to think things through. Your answer will come, just don't quit your job until you are really sure about what you want or think you should be doing.
It is true. We are closer to our subconscious when we are asleep. When we are in a transitional state between sleep and wakefulness (not alertness), it's a sort of a golden zone connecting both the worlds. So you are consciously aware of your sub-concscious drives.

Also, that is the best time for us to remember the dream that we were having. 5 minutes more and you will forget that dream - and whatever great idea or story it was that featured in the dream.
Distractions of the day keep us from doing our best thinking. At night, with our thoughts all to ourselves, we can consider our issues. However, this is when we'd be better off sleeping. Tell yourself, as you go off to sleep, that you will wake the next day with a better sense of direction in life. A month of this will help a lot. Remember, you have all the time you need to answer these questions.
