Psychoanalysis exists in your country?

I am from Argentina, and the psychoanalysis is the most popular psychological therapy. I would like to know if psychoanalysis is used in other countries. Tell me where do you live, if the psychoanalysis is used as a therapy, and if it is studied in universities.

Psychoanalysis is popular in the USA, but not that much. Newer, shorter styles of therapy are more common and seem to have better results.
I live in Tennessee, a southern state in the USA. We have it, it's used here, and taught in our universities. Fortunately, it's not the only one taught and used. I do feel it's an important therapy method to know and a good base from which to operate.
