What do girls mean by confidence?

a guy that always whines about how he is afraid she doesn't like him is the most annoying thing ever. if she's with you, she likes you. end of story. if she's not with you yet, confidence means knowing you could get her if you want her, but not being cocky or bragging about it.
Its usually BS, as you always see the super hot girls with bums. how confident are BUMS? Just be cool.

Ahhh, the air of confidence...alot of women lack it, therefore opening themselves up to abuse and self loathing. It is a very important thing becuz it opens you up to trying new things and not having a fear of failure. I grew up without confidence and yes my life WAS destructive becuz I let people do things to and against me that I would not have let them get away with any other way.
What they mean is when a guy walks around like he can have any girl he wants. Like he's confident he's an attractive member of the opposite sex and doesn't feel inferior to other guys. Some guys take this to the extreme and come off as jerks, but the more shallow girls tend to still go after them.
I always tried to walk a fine line where I wasn't disrespectful or acted like I was better than other guys, but tried to at least present and air of confidence about myself. Don't get me wrong, it was mostly an act because I had insecurities, but I tried to pretend like I didn't, and those were the times I did the best with the girls.
Ironically, things never worked out with the girls I pursued, but the one girl I wasn't really interested in and basically rejected, I eventually wound up getting into a very long-term relationship with her. I'm sure that my cavalier attitude (not disrespectful, just honestly not interested) was a main factor in why we ended up together. I was supremely confident in myself with her because I had no agenda. I was open and honest about my lack of interest in a kind way, and I think she also appreciated that honesty. But it's the confidence that made the difference.
