How much of a part does luck play in someones success?
Answer:
Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.
not that you want to hear from a holy roller and i sure am not one, but i don't believe in luck. i have god in my life and he knows where i'm going even if i don't.
none, if you work hard enough to achieve what you want.
I dont think luck has anything to do with it. You control your own destiny and are the only one that can choose if you succeed or not.
A lot. You can work hard all your life and you still will never become the president. But some people with no hard work, no aptitude for anything just walk into the right place at the right time. Some successful people are there on their own merit, but for many, that is not the case. There are many talented people who have never been noticed or they are born in a place where noone can appreciate their genius. Luck plays such a big part when you think of its wider implications. Of course, that doesn't mean we shouldn't try.
If you really proactive, you are creating your luck. You are not waiting for luck. Your success is guaranteed. Although there are a risk but since you are proactive, you have anticipated and provide risk management solution; therefore risk is minimized.
Some say that luck is the sweat of hard work
the chinese (feng shui) believe that 5 things make up our destiny; fate, luck, charity, education (and fengshui..but thats a huge topic in itself) they believe that luck has three parts; heaven luck, humanmade luck and pure luck. believe in this and that some people are just born lucky (lottery winners) while others are just unlucky (victims of 9/11) I think our life is already planned out.
a whole lot, its called work and doing whatever it is to they are garenteed they get what they want. those who have taken the time to learn has been called lucky, they are because they have invested their time to make sure they win.
