Pls. explain about people who blurt things out?
I have noticed that there are some people who sit on the sidelines and say the *most* peculiar things. suddenly from nowhere comes a remark .you wonder where it is coming from and then discover it is
exactly what *you* are thinking ..!
For ex, the other day I was talking with a gentleman, the conversation was a little too long for me . then suddenly one of these 'fence sitters' spoke up from across the room and said to the gentleman, "Don't talk to her, she doesn't know her * from a hole in the ground!" (and that is what I was thinking about myself, I am sorry to say ..but I would never come right out and say ...
Often they say things that are absolutely socially unacceptable ... and sort of display the bones in your closet, so to speak . it is my theory that if their minds were not loose in the first place, they would never act this way ..
what I would like to know is: what EVER is going on with them? Is there a specific diagnosis .?
Answer:
Often it's just that they don't think before they speak. And sometimes they may be drunk!
There are people who can't stand listening to others, and it seems it can be like a panic disorder. They have to say what is on their minds. Polite people listen, without remark.
Bluskye is correct, but there is also another factor that may be in play.
Social skills like recognizing appropriate conversation and comments are some of the highest level of brain development. People who lack these skills may suffer from dysfunctional or under developed brains. It may only show up in these incidents, and not be evident in any other part of their lives. Sometimes, it was oxygen deprivation during birth, sometimes, a genetic strain of traces of Autism, which often manifests in communication difficulties.
Whatever it is, sometimes it's funny as heck! Other times, it's crushingly embarrassing!
It's interesting that you find them saying what you're thinking. It may be that they've become experts at "reading" people, even if they don't know what to do with that info once they've got it...
People who insult others have low self esteem it's the "I will say something bad about you" so then I begin to look better in someone's eyes. I would ignore someone's comments like that...I think the diagnosis is they are STUPID!
Oh dear, you met one of those people who attacks others with silly sayings to upset, but they are not really they speak about themselves a part in there lives when a certain bit is triggered off, and that is what happens,
Shame but people like these should seek help about there past.
