What do you do when you're in a bad mood to shift to a good mood?

i do something im comfortable doing..like listening to music. or going on line watching a movie i like...playing soccer...stuff like that

I used to carry a list of things that I am grateful for. It helped a lot. I have learned that I can change my mood just by wanting to change it.
Work it of chores, lol. They get done so quickly and proud of my out come one who is normal,lol.
Find other person that have good mood and stick with him/her until you bad mood gone.
Sing a song...lol and get all crazy
This will sound silly to some but it works for me. Firts I do some sit ups or work out for a little while really quick even if its only a stretch. Then I will eat an apple or cheese and crackers. Then I listen to pop music stare at myslef in the mirror and smile. I smile and make silly faces at myself until I start to laugh. Because laughter is the best medicine.

Get away from what made your mood change,then dont stay idle,do what you like doing best like listening to your best kind of songs.You can also talk to your best friend about what has irritated you ,this gets the burden off your shoulders.
I go into my bedroom and lay on my bed and just have some "alone" time to get my thoughts and feelings in check. I ask myself if my being in a bad mood is making me feel better or worse, and the answer is usually worse so I PRAY!!
It depends on what has gotten me into that BAD mood if its due to something someone else had done or said I usually need to remove myself away from that person first of all. usually off to the bathroom either to have a good cry or just catch my breath talk to God ask him to help me. I know that if I just take a moment to just talk to God and have him help me just calm down. Much of my ability to get to feeling better is to forgive I am able to forgive others shortness . Let go and move on with life. Pray to God to give that other person Peace. This usually gives me Peace and that good feeling..
