Do people with multiple personalities suffer from mass hysteria?

Answer:
A large YES to that question. I have multiples. I can't say that too often, the others don't like it. I am not sure who is home and who is out. You have to be a multiple to understand these things about us.

I have different levels of mass hysteria depending on who is where. If everyone is in then it can be very, very bad. Then if everyone is not in, it is not mass hysteria.
No. Assuming that you believe Dissociative Identity Disorder is a valid diagnosis, then it is caused by a primitive defense mechanism, just above total denial. It has to do with memory storage and retrieval.
I don't!
No because they are only one person at a time, therefore they are never a crowd.
oooh this is fun to think of. I don't have an answer, but if the other personalities are able to communicate with each other I suppose it is possible. I seem to remember that could occur in some cases. I don't know for sure though.
