Do you comment on things you don't know ?
Answer:
I will give opinions on things I am familiar with.
As for factual information, I will also comment if I am aware (though I wonder why people look for factual information here instead of searching the net).
So in all, no, I don't comment on things I don't know about - in Y|A, or in any other social situation, for that matter..
If you don't comment on things you don't know, how the hell are you supposed to learn about them?
i'll give personal opinions of my viewpoint about things, i'll say what i'm pretty sure about when it comes to facts, but i'm not gonna give a bunch of B.S. on something i know nothing about.
Sometimes, but I know I shouldn't, since it is just abusing the points system.
But if it is a normal conversation or a website forum, I will comment, in order to learn.
occasionally
Dang tootin'. Mostly about things I am interested in. But, I really have no interest in Psychology. It was really fate that I even saw this.
I could comment more but there are more places to go, erudite comments to make.
All the time. I usually just write what I assume the answer is...but sometimes the answer's obvious, or I actually know the answer. :)
yes
If I am able to intelligently guess/deduce, then I will comment even if I may not fully know about the subject.
You need not be perfect to give opinion on a subject.
However with factual data, I will be cautious.
I only talk about what I know about, although there may be times when I'll make a guess about something and tell the person that I'm taking a stab at guessing (if the question is one that will involve everyone's guessing anyway because of the nature of the question).
I don't know.
