No, earth is not going to explode. actually God created earth for us to live happily on it forever. Isaiah 45:18. Ecclessiastes 1:4.
Jehovah God himself even said it: "He did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited..." Isaiah 45:18.
And if Jehovah God is Love (1John 4:8) then would you really think he would let earth be destroyed by an asteroid or nuclear weapon?
