Anything that the viewer can't see, remember the movie The Blair Witch Project? One doesn't see a thing but what a scary movie to watch alone in a dark room..:)

I am most afraid of things that could possibly happen--not monsters or aliens. I think the serial killer is the scariest.
Being pursued by a serial killer I guess.
worms
My ex wife. Or my exwife with a spider in her hand.
The suspense is what is scariest to me. Hearing an attacker but not seeing where they are scares me horribly!
not being able to see my attacker
Being buried alive would top the list.
Though I have to admit that the idea of being relentlessly pursued by a serial killer does not necessarily appeal to me.
Hope this answers your question.
insects and being burned alive. Burried wouldn't be to bad, cause it's just sufficating, but feeling your eyes pop and sizzle as the flames lick up your body, not fun. Also having a serial killer smarter then me would be scary.
the only interesting thing up there would be the being tied up and helpless part, but if you want to scare me, ( I mean jet your *ss hurt kind of scare me, ) frogs and bridges will do it every time. That would get somebody put in the ER and it wouldn't be me.
Clowns & spiders. Either one alone or both together! Ever since I saw Stephen King's It...I became deathly afraid of clowns! I've always been terrified of spiders. This is made worse by the fact that my husband is a behavioral psychologist and insists that the only way I'll get over my fear of spiders is through desensitization! I don't think so!
Worried that I will become the serial killer.

A man feared that he might find an assassin;
Another that he might find a victim.
One was more wise than the other.
