Is there a name for this?

I have noticed myself behaving a certain way with many situations. The two examples I can give involve video games and food. I play plenty of games, but recently right before i get to the end, i just stop playing the game. I have no more desire. When im eating and i get to the last bite, suddenly i just dont want it, or i feel like i cant finish it. I do the same thing with many other activities: i just dont want to finish after all the work is done and the end is coming.

Answer:
I'm the same way, 'cept with chocolate, maybe we should hook-up.
Maybe you're not pleased with what you're doing, so you stop right before the end of it to somehow maintain control.
maybe you don't like the feeling of something being finished. when you get close to orgasm do you stop? not being perverted, just another scenario that might fit into your behavioural description. not sure what it would be, maybe a small form of Obsessive Compulsive disorder?
i'm reaching here bc i don't know anything about your history, all of our behavior has a context that's very important to help us understand it's meaning.
-- have you been rejected a lot? so that when you complete something, then it can be judged? therefore rejected?
-- do you have ADHD? could be a concentration or attention thing
-- a symptom of depression is loss in previously enjoyable activities.

Maybe it's Kenophobia, fear of the VOID. You're afraid of the emptiness that will follow, so you break it off before getting to that point.
You have done what you wanted to do. It justs occurred before the end of the game. We stop eating when we are full, not when we run out of food. I think this has to do with being satified with whatever we are doing, which does not always happen at the finish.
it is self preservation.
remember all the tragic stories you hear of people who meet their doom? they always say "and she just finished college too!" or "he just finished that project!" or "yes, and he just completed his novel"

so, don't finish anything and it protects you from tragedy!
You are afraid to move on. By delaying the completion of one project or action, you are procrastinating about getting on with the next action or project.
It is a form of OCD, or obsessive-compulsive disorder.

It could also be the "King" or "Captain" syndrome, where you take command of a project and steer it ALMOST to completion, but allow the 'minions' to finish it. The 'control freak' syndrome has a similar bent, where you must control every detail almost to the end, but relinquish the final stroke because you are in denial about being a control freak.

How about that.
The problem is that you come to a realization that you have a small penis, that is the problem with most if not all asian men.
