What do u do when u have to let go of something you love?

What do u do when u have to let go of something you love dearly and I don't mean like ur bf or crushes.something like let's say ur pets which u will not be able to see again or u are leaving ur friend?
I'm finding it hard to not think about my kittens which I have left since I moved to an apt now...In class, outside of school, everywhere...just bringing tears to my eyes! =(
What shall I do...What would you guys do?
Any advice? Thank you

Answer:
having to give my dog was the hardest thing. I never thought it would affect me so much, but I was incessantly crying for way longer than I have ever cried for anything or anyone. And even now, and its been 2 years I have trouble remembering him, but with time it gets better. I don't know what tips to give you really, maybe let yourself grieve, and don't hold back because you think you shouldn't be grieving because they are just animals. good luck
get a new pet
I think you should just try to let it go by doing more and thinking about better things.
Where are your kittens now? If your parents have them then you can look forward to seeing them when you go back to your parents house.

As a side note.. imagine if you had a little baby...having to leave him/her at daycare... its tough.

You have to realize that they are not gone forever and you will see them again.

If you have to give your kittens away try to give them to friends.

In the end, time is the healer of all wounds.
