WOW ! Ever have a Dream, realize it is a Dream an struggle to wake yourself so you can write it down?
Answer:
Oh, yes. I used to keep a notebook beside my bed. I'm a writer, and I've written several short stories based on dreams I've had.
Nope. Whenever I'm dreaming, I never ever realize that it's a dream despite all of the impossible scenarios. When I wake up, though, I'll realize that it's a dream, and if it's good, then I'll write it down for a possible story later on.
No, but one fourth of July I woke up with a certain someone, and I closed my eyes quickly and for the first time prayed for it to be a nightmare. :)~
I used to be able to "wake up" in my dreams and then "participate" in them. I kept telling myself "this is a dream" and I'd then be able to change the course of events in it. Hasn't happened in awhile though...I'm lucky to even remember IF I dreamed at all.
But, I do still teach my kids that today. When they wake up from bad dreams especially...I tell them to fall back asleep remembering that they CAN change the dream if they keep reminding themselves that it's "just a dream".
I have always been able to enter my dream and tell myself in the dream, wake up Janet, it is just a dream, and I do. Usually my dreams are in technocolor, and sooooo vivid, sometimes I have to stop and think, and I have been heard to say, hey wait, that was a dream, you lose credibility very quickly. LOL
No, but I've had dreams (bad ones), knew they were dreams, struggled to wake up, and woke up into another dream (even worse). I hated it when that happened.
