What parts of your past are best kept secret?
Answer:
I try to be careful and not tell anything that could be used to hurt or to harm me, my loved ones, or anyone, to anyone that I believe can or will hurt or harm us. It's not the same as lying, since I'm not saying anything, it's just an instinct of preservation and protection. This doesn't mean there are big or horrible secrets to hide, only that life has showed me, over and over, how cruel and hurtful (or, at best, not enough caring) some people can be.
Patz, I believe that there ary certain things that are too intimate, or private, to be told to most people in our lives. I think that, ideally, we shouldn't have to keep anything from the persons closest to us, the ones we know will continue to love us, no matter what, unless we know that that information will hurt or disturb that persons, without bringing any benefit to them (some things that hurt a lot need to be said, for different reasons). We have to be kind and considerate of others' feelings and well being, and weigh the pros and the cons of delivering that information, before deciding to say anything. Even more important than what we say, is when and how we say it.
I have, by nature, a very hard time trusting people and, again, life has taught me to be even more careful than I already was, when I was younger. I know how important trust is, in close relationships of any kind. I try to be as much open as I can, and to open myself more and more, as time passes, and I get to know people better. But I'm as scared as a little rabbit, and any sign that a person is not much interested, or doesn't care much about my feelings, makes me say to myself "Ooops!! Carefeul!! You better wait a little more, until you feel more secure about how this person will treat your heart.".
All my kinky escapades! :)
well then it wouldn't be a secret if I told you!
the one that taught you d*mn good lessons but could ruin your reputation if someone else knows about it...
If I tell you, they will no longer be a secret.
The unknown ones of course. Secrets are naughty and we should share, but due to legal reasons, I'm forbidden!!
Certainly the period between 1989 and 2000; long period, many mistakes; lots of regrets, improbable forgiveness...
Many years ago i was a Cat.
probably the things that i didn't want my parents to know, such as getting a detention.
My friend would say french kissing a guy at a party behinda shed of another girl's house, while the guy was dating a girl who wasn't there...
I think details and names or numbers of the people you dated or had relationships with before you met your mate. In today's world you have a responsibility to stay healthy (AIDS/HIV/STD's) and that's not to be taken lightly and is information you should share.but the rest is best left in the past. You have nothing to gain and everything to loose if you share intimate details about past loves.
Then i certainly won't post it here. Nobody knows and i would like to keep it that way =^.^=
The parts that still make you physically grimace and flinch when you think back at them.
hey dont wanna sound sad but the time i was a kid and lost me dad! things happened that i would best keep and..
forget but cant hugx
everything that happened when I was 16 SHOULD have been kept secret, but, that didn't happen the way I wanted it to. Though people know, that's one thing I keep to myself when meeting new people.
The personal affairs of lives of others who have confided in me, both past & present. No one knows but that person & me. Personally, I have no secrets "best" kept, nothing I would be ashamed of, nothing that would hurt anyone to know, but that's not to say that my life is an "open book."
It depends on what the secrets are.
and nobody will ever find out either. lol there best kept a secret for a resion :(
Well if I wrote my best kept secrets than other people other than me would know..
I guess its ok to say here
That I dont work..when people ask , I just lie.
