Surgery does not change a person's sex, only their physical body. I really think there is something deeply disturbed about a person who would undergo that kind of surgery.

If it makes someone happy who am I to tell them to not do it. I don't think I would get one because I don't want to, but if someone else wants one go for it. Its not like it is going to effect me. Everyone deserves to be happy.

My second thought is: hormones (I've known several transgendered folks pre-op and post-op and I've always wondered about the efficacy of the hormone therapy, but I didn't want to seem insensitive by asking them).
