To be more confident there are many things you can do. Once you wake up in the morning say Confident words of praise to yourself and say good things before you sleep! One of the most important things is reliance on God because you are his child and he wants the best for you. Second is affirmations...stop negative self talk and replace them with positive words. Constantly say postive things to yourself. Third, Eat well and Exercise, this makes you confident because you are taking care of yourself. Fourth, Visualize confidence. see yourself as confident. Fifth, go to your local bookstore and read books by Tony Robbins, Wayne Dyer, Norman Vincent Peale, etc. anything in the inspirational section! It takes time but if you keep doing this as much as you can, you WILL become more confident!
Find somewhere quiet and 'safe' where you can sit alone for a few minutes without being disturbed. When you wake up, go there, sit comfortably, and close your eyes, clearing your mind. Name five things you like about yourself, and pick something to focus on as a little goal for that day. ( mine is usually to feel good with what I choose to do for myself, and to be proud of what I feel are personal accomplishments, and not to let anyone take away my happiness and self-respect, or rob me of who I am and who I want to be) When you feel like you can take on the world, go out and do it. Later, before you go to sleep, go back to that place, and do the same thing, but name five things that you did during the day that you are happy with, that made you proud of yourself. Go to sleep feeling content with who you are, wake up, and repeat. I know it sounds cheesy, but it works, because it helps you remind yourself everyday of who you are, a human being with the right to love yourself, regardless of what anyone else believes.
