Why are you timid?

Answer:
Maybe because you have problems with self-esteem. You need to develop more confidence in yourself and be firmer in your convictions. Maybe you were made fun of a lot as a child which might prohibit you to feel fully confident and to believe in yourself. You may be terrified of saying something wrong or making a mistake.
People often lack confidence. Sometimes they haven't had enough time to scrutinize a given situation. Other times it is the impression that they deliberately wish to leave.
A person becomes timid because of his or her assessment that the other person is stronger and will be able to overpower oneself. Timidity when persistent becomes cowardice and then becomes a negative personality trait.
