What is a free agent?
As for being able to notice those who commit idolatry and are unable to grow forward...such as choosing to live in the past it's called maturity. Being able to spot those who enjoy others stay stuck in the past is also called wisdom. I must have somehow been influenced by my environment. Loving enough to be honest with a person, which mind you, can only take place within the those who are healthy in the family and loving individuals who know due to witness.
"viewing others as influenced by their environments" is impossible unless one has direct experience with the environment no matter how much people prey on others or expect hero worship from those that struggle.
I was once very immature in math until teachers taught me how to add, subtract, multiply and divide. These teachers were part of my environment and knew what they were doing. My point is that nobody interfered with the teaching. If I didn't achieve someone positive was there to suggest I continue to work on it. I was a child some people are remain children. Here is the bizzare pare...How many today have been told by a menace to walk away from their family or to fight with their family without knowing the facts. by strangers that could care less about the person? Does the person really choose to do this or are they being manipulated by false teaching given the fact that people lie about their environments to achieve excessive validation for problems they have or are causing. People choose to lie and people choose to feed into it for what ever agenda, regardless it's unlovingly(unspiritual) and without leadership skills.
