Has there been a tornado in your town? We have not had one here yet.?
Just observing the news makes my skin crawl and I do have those awful nightmares if I watch a tornado on TV.

YES, when i was 12 we had a tornado rip through my town and injure 15 and killed one. My best friend and I lived on the same block and school had gotten out about 20 minutes before. when the sky turned black(not green) he ran to my house. the wind was pushing so hard it ripped off my screen door when he opened it. We went down to my basement and it got really loud. The house started shaking and we both thought we were going to die. The house I lived in was an old 4 story house built in 1892 and was built right. a tree that was huge fell on it and didn't damage the frame in the least. when the storm was over we went outside and every tree for three blocks was on its side except little ones.
Down town a lady left the post office to get home to her small children and a tree fell on her car. we watched them pull her mangled body from the car. I hate to admit this, but we both cried like small children seeing this woman so torn up. I can still see it like it was yesterday. His house was really old too and it was a little beat up but not to bad.
I had nightmares for years until I survived another tornado in 1997. i figured if I could make it through 2, a third one wouldn't get me either. the second one blew so hard that it pushed my car through the garage door and ripped the roof off my porch. Insurance paid me very well for it, so no complaints.
