What is real and what is not?
What would you say to that? They didn't give me any other information, just asked me what is real and what is not...
No idea what context they are meaning that in either.
Answer:
Real is knowing with certainty that something exists and is able to be verified.
That's not to say that something which is real now ,will always remain real.
Not real is everything which is imagined or doesn't exists.
everything is real or invented, therefore real to some extent as it was a real thing in the inventors mind.
either they are referring to existentialism or quantum thinking.
Reality depends on who you are. Everyone's concepts of reality are going to be different because we all percieve reality differently. All that exsists is our OWN reality, every individual's.
Reality is what you perceive it as. If you want to believe you live in a bad world, then do. If you want to believe the world is ineptly good, then it is. However, when referring to reality, most people refer to what most people would consider "normal." But since everyone is unique, I don't know that you could necessarily say there is a set reality.
I would say, who cares? Real is what you want it to be; that's why some people believe in ghosts and alien abduction and that the government is competent and fair and that anyone that works for our intelligence services has even a modicum of intelligence.
Consider if you might that you are not here standing before me, and you are not on the street corner in New York. If you aren't in either of these places you must be somewhere else, and if you are somewhere else you are not here. Do you even exist? So what is real and what is not? Somebody please tell me and share it with others.
Best question. This world is called Maya (illusion) it is temporary and full of misery. We are not this body, IE; race, color, nationality, religion, mind, intellect, job, senses, etc. We are eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die only the body dies. We are real the body isn't This world exists as does everything in it but it is all temporary. Only our spirits are real. Real meaning eternal not real means diminishes. Anything living has a soul and the rest are just the outer covering or body. Animal, plants, bugs, birds, animals, all have souls, the only difference is the bodies and the level of realizations each living entity has. The human being is supposed to have a developed consciousness so they can question their existence (as you are now) and also their relationship to God. Until one realizes their eternal relationship with God they are considered lower intelligence. The purpose of human life is to come to full realization of our eternal relationship with God, otherwise we can fall back in our next life to lower species. It depends on how many drugs they have taken. If they've taken enough, you can convince them that their money and possessions are not real and score yourself some gear.
If you can touch it or feel it, it's real.if you can't it may not be there.
