(ANS) Yes! if you have a lucid dream, this is a dreaming state which is experienced as if it was a waking state almost like real life. Then yes! you could experience a scary lucid dream but you would also know it was a dream.
No! lucid dreaming is NOT dangerous in anyway what so ever, why? because whilst you are in a dreaming state your body is totally paralysed & cannot move, its not under conscious control.

to have lucid dreams one must be in a true state of awareness about themselves and their objects and the fact is that you can only do good in lucid dreams and its more empowering of the self rather than manipulate people or objects...
there is a false idea that apprently you can manipulate people or situations to your gain but actually that admits being in the physical real world and having no control over your senses and so is a myth..
They might be scary, but I don't see how they could possibly be dangerous. They're a naturally occurring phenomenon. The more you became accustomed to them, the less scary they would feel.
I don't think there's anything to worry about, except why you think there "must be" something wrong with it.
I've never had scary or disturbing lucid dreams. Only with lucid dreaming have I been able to control scary scenes within my dreams.

If you look up the interpretation of your dream they become more and more apparent that they are not what you perceive them to be. That is to say, if you see death in a dream then its signifies a changing and a better understanding of the subject dreamed of. It could be a bus - but being made of bacon might think you are a bit of pig and therefore oink at you instead of blowing its horn. Be careful though with anything. Write down such dreams..certain details tell you where your life is and where it is going. You need not jot down every single thing but those salient points that you recall so vividly. Then find an interpreter to dechiper them. Good luck!
The idea of a lucid dream, starts as being a dream in which you control. So thus if it's truly a lucid dream it should be like that big loading room which was seen on the Matrix.
I personally only have had lucid dreams, while quickly purposefully re-dreaming a nightmare, and of course when i re-dream it my hands are definitely not empty.
Lucid dreams are ace. Iv had three in my life time. Unfortunatley, Iv always been so awed by the fact that im actually having a lucid dream, iv never had the presence of mind to make it a dirty one : ( Mental note for the future, and may I never wake up!
i had a lucid dream once but i was dreaming that i was dreaming which is very dangerous i dont quite remember what was happening but i knew i was in serious danger but i woke up but something seemed amiss and something wasnt right and felt i was in danger again and i suddenly had something come over me telling me this was a dream and i had to get out,and i instantly woke myself up
