Do feral children learn to communicate with animals?
Answer:
Normal children can communicate with animals!!!
I communicate with animals!!! I know exactly what my dog's saying to me when she's starts talking, begging, & throwing her weight around. And, No, I'm not "feral" whatever that means.
Are you referring to the myths of the "wolf-girl", little abandoned baby raised by wolves? Yea right. Like they wouldn't have eaten her.
Awesome question. There's very little definitive proof regarding feral children since they're feral, after all. It would be unethical to recreate the feral child's situation, so there's less. I guess they would be able to communicate on some level, but they wouldn't have the same sense of smell and hearing and whatnot of wolves, so their chance of survival is low.
I actually beg to differ, I've done some research on feral children, weird things interest me. But they do tend to have a heightened sense of smell and night-vision, in relation to living in the wild, mainly with wolves, of course it can never be as keen as a wolves senses, but still, they are much better than normal humans. And they can comm. with the animals on a most basic level, though there needs to be more research to prove this; And as the former said, recreating the env. wouldn't be all too "nice."
It depends on where the children were raised. For instance, if a child was locked in a room or basement, they would learn no communication at all. Yes, the child would seem to exhibit 'animal-like' behavior - but of what animal? All animals communicate differently.
If a child was raised by some type of animals, they, yes, I beleive that they would be able to communicate with the animals they were raised with.
