Does it mean that the person is very lonely/depressed when they listen to dark & lonely music like Lacrimosa?

i dont think you can make generalizations like that.. it could also be that they find the slower paced music soothing. i like those bands too, but also tend to listen to them with i want to slow down.

whatever you derive from it, it strictly a matter of personal choice.
