Do people who study PSYCHOLOGY, consider themselves intelligent?

Answer:
GREAT QUESTION...I bet you haven't, but could run rings around those, so called, educated, farts eh?
Sure, as do other Professionals who had to study at university for 4 + years!

Why shouldn't they consider themselves intelligent? Uni's bloody hard, & they fought for their status.
Well I dun think so that they consider themselves intelligent. They juz apply all types of permutation & combination to solve any issues. They do engage their brain all the time to find the solution. So it doesn't mean that they are intelligent this is simply a right use of application of the brain.
Of course, why shouldn't they? They would have to be intelligent to do that job.
Unfortunately they do. And they feel this gives them the right to drivel on about pseudo-nonsense to all and sundry. Oh well, never mind eh?...
i'm studying it at college soon, i don't consider myself any more intelligant than the next person, i just find the human mind etc incredibly interesting and i naturally understand how it works and am interested in broadening my skills on reading people.

it's like, i suck at maths, other people are really good, but i might be better at science than them. doesn't make either of us any more intelligant than the other, it just means we have the capability to do better at different things.
is this your project for psychology?
I would believe that anyone that has put time and energy into obtaining an education; feels they are intelligent or at least educated... God bless****
You would have to consider yourself intelligent to study anything, so the answer is `yes`
It depends on what level someone studies Psychology at. The higher levels of study will require more intellect. Therefore, a person who does this may regard themselves as more intellectual, or intelligent.

However, intelligence is multi-faceted. The ability to study (whatever subject) is only one aspect of it.
Ever seen the Geico cave man commercial? The cave man is in the psychologists office.your answer lies within this commercial.
I know psychologists who can't apply their own psychology to themselves. Having a physiology degree makes them educated and knowledgeable but not smart.
Well my friend studys psychology, and she often tells me that psychologists are the most screwed up people out of everyone. She says that they'd rather deal with other peoples sh*t to avoid their own. I'm not sure if this is intelligent or not. She says the courses you have to do are really easy as well as a lot of the time you can make it up as you go along. I dont know how they consider themselves but I think its all a bit if a waste of time really and I really dont think they're that clever
If they can manage to spell psychology correctly then yes.
Probably because they have analysed themselves, and like what they found.
It's a subject that is very much relevant to everyday-life, more than any other science. yet, it's a science. so when people can walk around "applying science" everywhere, they consider themselves inteligent, and rightly so!
