but i get wound up easily, becasue if somebody says something as a joke, i dont think they are joking and i take it personally
I've often wondered!
My theory is over-population. if people slowed down a bit, and had space to go outside, breathe deeply and do something fun outdoors instead of being crammed into cities getting stressed and winding each other up, the world would be a calmer place.
Also, the whole excessive PC thing causes problems. everyone is afraid to speak out in case they are mis-interpreted, and they come to expect nastiness in other people. Then they get defensive and lash out randomly.
Everyone takes themselves far too seriously!
Some people don't suffer fools gladly, is that horrible enough, ha!ha!
People are so wrapped up in themselves, and 'knowing' that everything they think and do is absolutely right that they don't realize that something can be posted here as a joke.
