They can't; we spread out in a consistent grid pattern. We cannot be stopped. All cities will become one. The only question is who's a suburb of who.
Land is the main source of everything
i can think of mountains, icelands, and deserts being inhabitable
different climates in different areas affect skin color, types of animals, types of nutrition from these animals, and nutrition goes a long way determining things like human growth, cognitive ability and survival instincts to name a few
