How to forget the day something bad happened?

Just leave it... no matter how much it hurts and how stupid this may sound what I am going to say, it really helps... and the thing that helps its time... I know, you sure think : Time, its only going to make it more hurting, but you are not right... Time will help you to get over whatever happened ... It will still be in your memory but it will fade... I asked almost the same question not so long time ago. I think that it was : Is it possible to delete a part of your life ? and now I don't want to delete that part... its just a bad memory now...
I'm sorry about whatever happened to you. The thing i do is:
1) Pray to God.
2) Write down what you remember and then tear it up and throw it away.
3) Think about why you can't forget, then solve it.
4) Talk to somebody you can trust.

Just do something that u really but really like.
A hobie for exalmple.It will make it easier to forget.

You are not supposed to forget it. Instaed, you have to be strong enough to remember it without it affecting you. You have to learn a lesson from that hurt /bad experience. Sounds like you have.
you don't forget it - you just learn how to survive it each year. and if you allow yourself with time you learn the best way for you to deal with "that day".
SOMETIMES YOU CAN'T AND YOU HAVE TO LEARN TO LIVE WITH IT.
IT HELPS TO HAVE SOMETHING PLANNED FOR THE FEW DAYS BEFORE DURING AND AFTER THAT DATE THAT YOU ENJOY DOING.
VOLUNTEER FOR YOUR COMMUNITY AND DO SOMETHING WORTHWHILE AND SELF SATISFYING.
IF YOU ARE A GRANDPARENT GO TO THE HOSPITAL AND VOLUNTEER YOUR SERVICES ROCKING A NEWBORN BABY IN THE NURSERY.
OR, GO TO A REST HOME AND VISIT THE PEOPLE THERE AND RUN ERRANDS OR WRITE LETTERS FOR THEM. TAKE THEM A GIFT OF FLOWERS OR A BOOK.
TAKE A GUITAR AND PLAY IT FOR THEM.
SOME OF THOSE PEOPLE NEVER HAVE A VISITOR AND YOU WOULD BE A BLESSING.
Time is the best medicine, also doing things helps u forget. Get out there and keep busy.
Just tell yourself wholehearteldy and sensibly..."Yes there WAS a bad day which doesnt exit anymore and thinking about it is as useless as thinking about the milk spilled two days back...its of no use. And today that day is of no significance."
So concentrate on Today, when its all fine and keep yourself busy. By this you will not go back to the old thought and "energize" it to come back.
