I want my body to be used for medical science...
My family can remember me from photo's and memories...and so what if I'm chopped into bits and touched by loads of people...I'll be dead..I won't care!
You say "had to" which suggests that it's already decided. If given the choice, no, I wouldn't donate my body to science.
Organs, yes, entire body, no. Unless I was dying of some rare thing they could truly learn from. I wouldn't want to be just hacked away just because.
i'm an african most would say african american but history has shown that since medicine was practiced in america the bodies studied were those of africans who had been burried, or allowed to die for the purpose of research,yet modern medicine refuses to live up to its legacy of ,yes graverobbing.theres is nothing you can say to (it was so long ago) up until 190? and today poor and black peoples bodies are still used for studies without permission from families .it's a dirty history the study of anatomy and who and how the bodies were attained. rascism is in the medical field. I would... I don't care for grave visiting ... Actually I am more into burning bodies cause body lives and then dies and thats it we don't have to bury that body... So yeah... If it would help the world , then OF COURSE ...burying bodies is not helping to this world, is it ?
I wouldn't donate my body to science and let medical students carve it up. But I would donate my organs to help someone else to live. That's okay with me.
Heck yeah! Who cares? I'm dead! Graves, funerals, all that is a waste of money. It's (your body) an empty vessel once you're dead. It's not me anymore, I'm in Heaven. Donate it to those who need my organs first then to science. Whatever is done with my body I could care less. Let it rot on a body farm for all I care.
Yes I would - I would also prefer my family to go and pay respects somewhere i enjoyed going myself - pub with friends - park with children - beach and remember me there than at a headstone.
I think that there is a 100% percent chance that I will die. I plan to donate as many organs that they will take. Originally I was going to be cremated but recently I decided science can have what's left. If they wanted to my family can place a plaque on a patch of land. That's all that's really needed. It's not like they would be looking at my rotting corpse. Why not help others rather that letting it go to waste.
