And as you can see, back then when there are mammoths there are no elephants and now, there are elephants but no mammoths.
So elephants are adopted animals that transformed fr mammoths.
That goes to human too, if there are monkeys there shouldn't be human and if there are no monkeys then there should be human.
Conclusion: Human are not from monkey/ape/monkey-relatives, because only one kind can survive if they're related to each other.

Ok, for the last time, we do not come from monkeys or apes. We share a common ancestor with modern monkeys and apes. Then we and the modern apes diverged onto different evolutionary paths from that point. One point split into two lines, if you will, due to different enviornments. We are cousins to the modern apes and monkeys, because we share a really really great-grandparent that was neither monkey or human at the time.
In order for a monkey to become a human, it would have to de-evolve back down the path to that common ancestor millions of years ago, and take the human's evolutionary path instead, which is impossible.
