Most American's Dreams are to have a good job, that will be around when it is time to retire, a spouse and children and a home some where safe and they can call their own. To be able to afford a family vacation once a years. To have those children to go through life with very little difficulty,and they turn out to be hard working respectful children. So when they look back on their death beds they can smile and say not to bad. I am pleased.
The nice fancy car, the nice big house in good ol' surburbia.
To have a dream house with a white picket fence. And loads of money to help your kids through school and life. Mainly to give the kids a good life without spoiling them so they still have moral values.
To do as well, or better, than your parents and then for your children to do the same.
