Can being very anxious make you skinny?
if you're constantly worrying or thinking about something, always talking, feeling light headed, hypochondriac, extremely paranoid, depressed upset and just generally living in a state of fear and paranoia is it possible that could make you a very skinny person?
and would you say a person exhibiting those characteristics is crazy?
Answer:
I wouldnt say the person was crazy.just someone who is going through a hard time.
As far as being in those states of mind.I dont think they'd be making you skinny, but alot of people who feel that way wont eat due to having no appetite, which can cause weight loss. However, it is more common for those feelings to inspire people to self-medicate themselves with food and end up gaining weight.
I wouldn't say this is crazy. From the people I know who have dealt with a lot of anxiety, more of them gain weight, than loose it. Please seek professional help. I don't mean this as a put down of you. I have been there.
