Some of the physical changes associated with old age are decline in health and decline in ability (both physical and cognitive). Other more obvious physical changes include hair loss, weight gain/loss of muscle mass, wrinkling, and shrinking (becoming shorter). Some psychological issues may include coping with the loss of independence and the loss of peers to illness or death.

Evolution hates anybody older than reproductive age. The entire universe justly conspires to destroy the elderly in all ways possible. Go with the flow. Only a fool adds to the pot when holding a dead poker hand for all to see.
In a nutshell, sadness over the little time left. fear of Alzheimer's, presence of Sometimers, and the hazards of tripping over junk left on the floor, wetting your pants, or worse loss of control for number 2. Passing gas in public, I could go on, but there are also many positive aspects of aging which I will address when I am asked.

My main fear, personally, is that something would go wrong with either my hypothalamus or Broca's area. But that's just my own feelings.
