Sounds like your friend's mom is TERRIBLY insecure and naive, and that she thinks you're going to 'steal' her daughter's husband. A pity she's so shallow, but it shouldn't effect the behavior of your friend, her husband or you.
If you care you will let them be alone.
Sounds like there may be a touch of jealousy there to me! lol
talk it over with your friend and her husband, if they don't have any complaints about the friendship then things should be fine. but take into account that her mom might be relaying something your friend may have commented/talked about with her. if so you friend may not want to make waves in your friendship so thats why mommy has come to "save the day". this may or may not be the case but either way be sure and talk to your friend alone first to try and find out if this is stemming from her, or just a nosy @ss mom. and tell tha mom to get a f*ckin life already, you guys aren't in 6th grade and you DON'T need a chaperone!
