Has trying to beat depression help you overcome your social anxiety?
Answer:
If you have a problem like depression, people aren't really gonna care(at least not for long), you're just going to bring them down. Everyone has their own problems and doesn't want any hassles. So, no, you should be happy and socially comfortable. If for personnal reasons you are not those things, you need to work on them and cure yourself. Others wont really help you.
And in the end you need to realise everyone lives for themselves, and so should you. Its normal egoism.
Its not the way it should be, but what are you going to do? We're billions of heart-broken children mon this earth, not responsible, loving, caring adults like we're supposed to be...

When I am very depressed, I always think that people are thinking the absolute worst of me.
yes it has helped me overcome social anxiety.
