What makes a person "successfully single?" What traits define a successfully single person?

I always tell people you're "successfully single" if you're not lonely or bored and have my own set of tips for helping people make sure they fight loneliness (because it gets everyone sometimes) and boredom (ditto) but let's hear from you!

Answer:
One is not obsessively seeking a partner 'to complete themselves'. One feels secure enough to attend events (weddings, parties, etc) alone without making excuses for being a singleton.
having great friends and a great family helps. being self-sufficient. traveling. exercising. just getting out there and living life to the best of your ability.
Well I followed my heart and never got married or never had a baby because it was "the thing you are supposed to do". I live alone in a 2 bedroom house, have a nice car, and go to college. I have a great dog and really enjoy living alone. I have plenty of opportunities to date men but just put myself first rather than put some man in front of what I want. therefore--successfully single!!
