I was just wondering...?

What is the difference between a therapist and a psychologist? Thanks

Answer:
there are both physical therapists and "psychological therapists" which some people might call counselors.

there are many types of psychologists, but a clinical psychologist talks to you about your problems and tries to make suggestions to help you with your problems.

A"psychological -type" therapist is not licensed the same way - in some states any minister can call themselves a therapist legally. But he /she still talks to you about ways to deal with your problems.

so usually, a therapist has less training. However, some people MIGHT use the word therapist in a general way to refer to a psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, or ministers given marital counseling as therapists.
The Therapist deals with physical problems, the Psychologist
Problems of the mind.
Therapist have less school and can't prescribe medication they talk things out which is the best way to heal.
