Are we asking answers to compare them with our own opinion about the subject. Pls. read additional detials:?
Answer:
Answers is not just about opinions. Its more about finding information from someone who has it because of his experience.
However if you ask a opinion based question, yes, I would think that its usually to see what others think about a subject close to your heart. And as far as choosing the best answer goes, i think it would have to do more with how articulate, engaging, persuasive and informative the answer is.
Ofcourse, im talking about the serious users here.. there are those who..well.. have nothing much to do with their time
yes ... if we think ourselves to be big brothers...
if we really want to learn... we would search for something new that we do not know...
now what are you going to do...?
relax,enjoy,dont be so hastie,let the answers come to you.
I think a lot of people are looking for some sort of confirmation, so they post their question and get it from someone. For me, there have been plenty of times that all I needed to do to decide an answer to a question I was having was to put it into words, therefore the question was never posed to anyone else. But to those times where someone has opened their mind to the wisdom of others.CHEERS!
hmm, u have a point.
There are three base of questioning.

* You just want to confirm the answer
* There is no answer
and the fourth one is
* You just want to know how many others agree with you.
