Do you think people are totally honest when answering questions on here?
Answer:
Sometimes. total anonymity allows people to express themselves more honestly than they normally would. But if person believe thy can be identified they may hold back.
Also people sometimes don't answer in accord with their true feelings to stir up controversy.

I am. I have no reason to be otherwise. You are right if people known to you can have a sneak peek, you will be constricted because there are some facets to our personality which we do not want others to know, however close they may be. In fact the closer they are, greater is the need for secrecy. I am honest because I know nobody reading my answers know me personally. They may know about me but cannot relate it back to me. So I am brutally honest and open my heart whenever need be..
Some people only give answers that they think others want to hear because their gaming for points. I've seen answers to questions that were posted by people who needed to hear that their behavior was awful and that they are wrong, and others answer them by telling them that they are right and essentially kiss their butt. You know that they are giving an answer that they think they other person wants so they can get ten points. That's dishonest.
Well I know whenever I answer a question I try to be as honest and up to the point as I can. I believe that yes, that the majority of the people on FunQA.com are are also honest and dedicated, but the rest of the people give silly and untruthful answers which have nothing to do with the question.

Do you mean that you think your family will log onto the computer and look at the questions you've been answering?
I don't have that problem, so I just answer honestly. I think you probably would answer more honestly as well if you didn't feel like your family would see.
If you skipped answering that's not being dishonest.
