Do you think it is important for a person to have something they dispise and an obsession?

Answer:
Its as important as having ex-wives , and a disease that will eventually kill you.
I don't know if everyone needs someone or something to despise, but probably everyone has an obsession, but it probably is not a clinical obsession, in the sense that if they don't get it, they become extremely anxious. People just have something they like, but then I have liked different things at different times, shifting my likes and dislikes as I go along.
No in both cases. It is only important in the case of where it's an absolute necessity. For example, you could despise child abuse and see someone hitting a child. In that case, your despising the action would prompt you to do something beneficial for the child. Otherwise, both despisings/obsessions tend to do more harm than good.
